Production Services (EASA Part 21G)

Avionicare is EASA Part 21G approved for the manufacture of looms and associated installation metalwork in accordance with approved design data, additionally non-primary structure general metal parts may also be manufactured to approved design data and certified. The looms and metalwork are normally supplied to the customer in the form of an Installation Kit, where the maximum amount of preparation has been completed before delivery leaving a relatively small number of connections/terminations for the customer in the field.

As an additional service, we will inspect, test and certify customer wiring looms on the basis that the approved design is supplied and that the evidence of the traceable and approved origins of all component parts is also provided (please download the Production Brochure on this page).

Additionally, we offer cable identification number marking along the whole length of the loom by programmable automatic laser marking, negating the requirement for identification sleeves at either end of each individual cable, which are costly and time consuming to mark. This methodology greatly enhances post-installation wire identification throughout the aircraft providing ease of traceability and fault diagnosis.
